“…as long as it sparkles!”

Whenever Rex or his father Gwynne Brunt asked Charlotte what she wanted for special occasions like Christmas, her Birthday, or Mother’s Day her standard reply was, “I don’t care, as long as it sparkles!” These are two of Charlotte’s MOST sparkly and therefore favorite gifts from her husband and son.

One of Charlotte’s favorite fashion statements was the bow. Whether it was a bow on a blouse or a silk chiffon scarf perfectly tied into a bow at her neck, bows were quintessentially Charlotte. So obviously, Tiffany & Co.’s fully pave diamond bow brooch seemed MADE for Charlotte Ralph Brunt.

Rex remembers that his mother always wanted a round diamond brooch because she had coveted her best friend’s round diamond brooch for so many years so when they walked into Tiffany & Co. in Atlanta and saw a round diamond brooch featuring a beautiful flower, Charlotte knew this was the piece she had been waiting for.
