CRB and Tiffany & Co.

Charlotte wasn’t just a connoisseur when it came to fine jewelry but also a bit of a designer in her own right. One of her favorite things to do with diamonds was to take them to her favorite jewelers and use them to add her own special flair to pieces that already existed. Whether they were diamonds from a ring that she had upgraded or newly-gifted diamonds, the final product was always spectacular.

When you think of famous collaborators with iconic fine jewelry makers Tiffany & Co., I'm sure the names Jean Schlumberger, Elsa Peretti, and Paloma Picasso all come to mind. But what about Charlotte Ralph Brunt? That’s right. Charlotte was so beloved by her Tiffany jewelry specialists in Atlanta that they would work with her to help find the perfect pieces to compliment each diamond’s unique cut and clarity. The final products of these collaborations between Charlotte and Tiffany & Co. were these two one of a kind brooches. A classic 14k gold square to compliment a simple round cut diamond and an intricate 18k gold oval shaped double swirl to compliment a more distinctive oval cut diamond; both are exquisite and uniquely Charlotte.

Imagine being able to walk into Tiffany & Co and not just take in the splendor, but be given the opportunity to improve upon it. That was the “Charlotte Ralph Brunt factor”. She carried beauty and elegance with her wherever she went, and in doing so, could make even the most beautiful or elegant things even more beautiful and more elegant.
